Islamgarh (Javed Iqbal Butt, Bureau Chief): An important political development has emerged in the politics of Tehsil Islamgarh. During a ceremony held at Chinar Press Club Tehsil Islamgarh, Chairman Municipal Committee Islamgarh Ahsan Shoaib Advocate, Vice Chairman Union Council Potha Bainsi Abrar Hussain Lal and former councillor candidate Umar Maroof, along with their supporters, announced their full support for Pakistan Peoples Party candidate for the Legislative Assembly constituency LA-2 Chakswari-Islamgarh and Minister for Finance of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Qasim Majeed.

Speaking on the occasion, Ahsan Shoaib Advocate said that he had decided to support the Pakistan Peoples Party after expressing confidence in the leadership of Chaudhry Qasim Majeed due to his public service, merit-based approach and record of development projects. He said that Chaudhry Qasim Majeed’s services for the development of the constituency, the bright future of the youth and the resolution of public issues were commendable.

Vice Chairman Abrar Hussain Lal said that the decision had not been taken for personal interests but in view of the broader interests of the public. He said that in the upcoming elections, he would play a full role with all his political and public strength to ensure the success of Chaudhry Qasim Majeed.

Former councillor candidate Umar Maroof said that the people of the constituency wanted development and prosperity, which was why he had decided to support the Pakistan Peoples Party. He urged workers to actively participate in the election campaign and ensure the success of the party candidate.

On the occasion, Chaudhry Qasim Majeed welcomed the newly joining leaders and said that the Pakistan Peoples Party was a party of the people and would take all its colleagues along with honor and respect. He said that after winning with the confidence of the people, the journey of development in the constituency would continue at an even faster pace.
