Attock (News Reporter) Following the directives of Deputy Commissioner Attock Dr. Mudassar Ahmed Shah, Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services Anil Saeed participated in various events held in the Attock district to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day. He attended a ceremony in Mehriya Town Attock as a guest, where he raised the flag and cut a cake. Local residents, organizers, and other participants celebrated Independence Day with national enthusiasm and prayed for the safety, development, and prosperity of Pakistan.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services Anil Saeed also conducted a detailed visit to the District Jail Attock, where he distributed sweets among the inmates on the occasion of Independence Day. He inspected the jail’s hospital, kitchen, various barracks, and other departments, reviewing the facilities provided there. He also received a briefing from the relevant authorities regarding cleanliness, food, medical facilities, and other arrangements in the jail.
On this occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services instructed the jail administration to ensure the provision of all basic facilities to the inmates in accordance with regulations and to avoid any negligence in cleanliness, health, food, and other arrangements. An interesting kabaddi competition was also held among the inmates at the District Jail Attock as part of the Independence Day celebrations. Anil Saeed watched the kabaddi match and distributed prizes to the successful players who demonstrated excellent performance. He stated that sports activities are beneficial for the mental and physical health of inmates and promote positive thinking and a spirit of healthy competition.
Later, Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services Anil Saeed also cut a cake with the officials of the Traders Association and the business community to celebrate Independence Day. On this occasion, the business community presented a shield to Anil Saeed. He thanked the business community, stating that their role is crucial for the development, prosperity, and economic stability of Pakistan.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services Anil Saeed remarked that Independence Day reminds us of the timeless sacrifices of our elders. Pakistan was achieved through great struggle and sacrifices, so it is our collective responsibility to play our part in the development, stability, and prosperity of our homeland. He emphasized the need to promote national unity, solidarity, and brotherhood to work together in making Pakistan a strong and prosperous nation. Participants in the various Independence Day events chanted slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Army Zindabad,” waving the national flag to express their love and devotion for their homeland.
