Rawalpindi (Omar Khan/Crime Reporter) A grand ceremony was held at the Bahria Town patrol post in Rawalpindi district on the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day, with the special participation of SP Ghazi Faisal Saleem, the Regional Officer of Punjab Highway Patrol for the Rawalpindi region.

During the event, the national flag was hoisted and saluted. A large number of citizens, along with officers and personnel of the Punjab Highway Patrol, attended the ceremony, expressing national unity, love for the homeland, and a strong sense of patriotism.

A cake was also cut to celebrate Independence Day, and special prayers were offered for the country’s security, development, prosperity, stability, and survival.

In his address, SP Ghazi Faisal Saleem stated that freedom is a great blessing from Allah, and it is our collective responsibility to value and protect it. He emphasized that for Pakistan’s development, prosperity, and stability, we must play our roles with unity, discipline, and national spirit.

He noted that the officers and personnel of the Punjab Highway Patrol are diligently fulfilling their duties with a sense of responsibility, dedication, and national spirit to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property, prevent crime, and guarantee safe travel on the highways.

At the end of the ceremony, participants expressed their deep love and devotion to their homeland by chanting slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Painda Bad.”
