Islamabad Police Committed to Resolving Citizens’ Issues; DIG Muhammad Jawad Tariq Holds Open Court

Islamabad Police remains committed to addressing and resolving the concerns of citizens. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, listened to public complaints and issues during an open court (Khuli Kachehri) held at his office and directed the concerned officers to ensure their prompt resolution.

According to details, following the special directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police is actively working to facilitate citizens and resolve their grievances. In this regard, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq heard various public complaints during the open court session and issued instructions to officers for their immediate resolution on merit.

Speaking on the occasion, he stated that citizens can also register their complaints and issues through the “IGP Complaint Cell – 1715.” He emphasized that Islamabad Police is committed to reaching out to the public through various initiatives and ensuring that their concerns are addressed effectively.

He further stated that IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has directed all senior police officers to organize open courts throughout the district. In compliance with these instructions, all zonal SPs are conducting open court sessions within their respective jurisdictions.

DIG Muhammad Jawad Tariq added that every resident of Islamabad is encouraged to openly present their concerns and issues during these sessions. He noted that the objective of Islamabad Police’s public outreach campaign is to resolve citizens’ problems at their doorstep and strengthen trust between the police and the community.
