Islamabad Police Recruitment Process Continues with Complete Transparency and Merit

Senior police officers supervising recruitment stages at test centres across the country on special instructions of IGP Islamabad

Islamabad (Crime Reporter): The recruitment process in Islamabad Police is continuing with complete transparency and merit. On the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, senior police officers are personally monitoring all stages of the recruitment process at various test centres across the country to ensure strict compliance with transparency, merit and prescribed rules and regulations.

According to details, during the Islamabad Police Recruitment 2026 process, DIG Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq, DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq and other senior police officers visited various test centres, where they reviewed physical and running tests, verification of candidates, security arrangements, discipline and the overall recruitment process in detail.

The officers directed the officials on duty to ensure that equal opportunities were provided to every candidate and that all stages of recruitment were completed with complete impartiality, transparency and according to the prescribed procedure.

In accordance with the special instructions of the Inspector General of Police Islamabad, other senior police officers also remained present at test centres established in different cities and continued monitoring the recruitment process to ensure that every stage was completed in an organised, transparent and uninterrupted manner.

For the convenience of candidates, all necessary arrangements, including shaded tents, clean drinking water, medical assistance, waiting areas and effective security measures, were ensured.

The senior police officers made it clear that only eligible, talented, physically fit and professionally capable candidates would be selected for Islamabad Police purely on merit. They said recommendations, pressure or any kind of illegal interference would not be tolerated.

They further stated that a transparent and merit-based recruitment process is the foundation for building a strong, professional and public-friendly police force.
