Suspect had shot one man dead and injured another over a personal dispute; had been absconding since August 2023, while three accomplices had already been arrested

Jatli Police conducted an operation and arrested a proclaimed offender wanted in a case involving murder, attempted murder, and assault.

According to the police, the proclaimed offender, along with his accomplices, opened fire due to a personal enmity, killing one citizen and injuring another. Following the incident, the suspect fled and had been wanted by the police since August 2023.

According to the Rawalpindi Police spokesperson, Jatli Police utilized both technical and human intelligence resources to trace and arrest the proclaimed offender. The suspect’s three accomplices, who were also nominated in the case, had already been arrested earlier.

SP Saddar Anam Sher stated that the proclaimed offender would be presented before the court with solid evidence through the submission of the challan so that he could be awarded appropriate punishment in accordance with the law.
