Islamabad (Special Reporter) Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, head of the Pakistan Awami Quwat Party and chairman of Rawal General and Dental Hospital and Rawal Foundation, stated that we should celebrate Independence Day in a manner similar to how we keep our homes clean, avoiding any unnecessary actions or words that might harm others. If we apply this principle to our country, we will be truly sincere to Pakistan. He made these remarks during discussions with Imtiaz Abbasi of Helping Hand for Orphan Children and other delegations. Meanwhile, the party chairman also inaugurated SMS Pharmacy in Ghauri Town, where he received a grand welcome upon arrival. The pharmacy’s administration, including Nasir Paracha, Naeem Baste Satti, Karam Hussain, Amjad Saleh, Ahmad Bakhsh, Fayyaz-ul-Hassan, Raja Kamran alias Kami, Sohrab Latif Baig, and Naeem Mughal, were present at the event. Additionally, in connection with Independence Day, he initiated a tree plantation campaign by planting a sapling alongside Chairman Amjad Hussain in Union Council 65 Khanna Burma Town. Notably, renowned health sector figure Dr. Roof Nasir Chaudhry also announced his joining of the Pakistan Awami Quwat Party during this occasion. Expressing pride over Dr. Chaudhry’s inclusion, Khaqan Waheed Khawaja remarked that it is an honor for our party to attract educated individuals from this country, which strengthens our policies, manifesto, and narrative. Regarding the tree plantation campaign, Chairman Khaqan Waheed Khawaja emphasized that planting trees is not only a Sunnah but also a pressing environmental need for our country at this time. While inaugurating SMS Pharmacy, he urged that not only should the prices of medicines be reduced, but there should also be no compromise on the quality of medications. Pharmaceutical companies should take measures to make it possible for the common person to afford medicines. On this occasion, he also cut a cake in celebration of Independence Day.
