Major Action Against Motorcycle Thieves by Sihala Police; Two Members of Organized Gang Arrested

Islamabad (Crime Reporter) – Sihala Police have carried out a major operation against individuals involved in motorcycle theft. Two members of an organized gang involved in motorcycle theft have been arrested. Police recovered six stolen motorcycles worth millions of rupees, along with weapons and ammunition allegedly used in criminal activities. Further investigation is underway.

According to details, on the special instructions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police is continuing indiscriminate operations against criminal elements and individuals involved in motorcycle theft incidents across the federal capital.

In this regard, a team from Sihala Police Station successfully arrested two members of an organized gang involved in motorcycle theft. During the operation, police recovered six stolen motorcycles worth millions of rupees from the possession of the arrested suspects, along with weapons and ammunition allegedly used in criminal activities.

During initial interrogation, the arrested suspects reportedly confessed to involvement in multiple criminal incidents. Cases have already been registered against the accused, and further investigation is in progress.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, stated that Islamabad Police is taking all possible measures to protect the lives and property of citizens. He emphasized that strict action will continue against criminals who deprive the public of their valuable belongings.
