Daudkhel (Zia Niazi) — On the directions of Mianwali District Police Officer Waqar Azim Kharl, Makarwal Police conducted operations against drug dealers and criminal elements, arresting four suspects, including a drug dealer and three individuals allegedly involved in attempted murder and threats cases.
According to police, SHO Makarwal Police Station Sub-Inspector Shafqatullah Khan and his team, acting on a tip-off during checking, recovered 2 kilograms and 520 grams of hashish from Sajid Khan, son of Badshah, a resident of Kamar Mushani.
In another operation, acting on information from an informant, police arrested Ziaullah, son of Attaullah, a resident of Sultan Khel, Makarwal, who was allegedly involved in an attempted murder case, and recovered a pistol used in the incident.
In a separate operation, police recovered a motorcycle from Sanaullah, son of Amir Khan, in connection with the case. In another action, a 30-bore pistol allegedly used in the incident was recovered from Zahid Khan, son of Ghulam Habib, a resident of Malakhel, who was wanted in a threats case.
During questioning, the suspects failed to produce any permit or licence for the weapons.
Separate cases have been registered against all four suspects at Makarwal Police Station, and further legal proceedings are underway.
