Daud Khel (Zia Niazi) – A Martyrs of Karbala Conference was held at the residence of Chairman Ameer Abdullah Khan Daud Khel under the auspices of Minhaj-ul-Quran Daud Khel. The event was hosted by Petroleum Chairman Shah Sawar Khan, Zaka Ullah, Traders Chairman and owner Dil Jan Khan, and Aqib Khan.

The conference was addressed by Professor Allama Mehtab Rajpoot, who delivered a comprehensive speech on the events of the tragedy of Karbala, beginning from its outset to the arrival of the caravan of Imam Hussain (AS) in Damascus.

At the beginning of his address, he recited the Holy Quranic verse, “Whoever obeys the Messenger has indeed obeyed Allah,” and stated that the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) love for Hazrat Hassan (AS) and Hazrat Hussain (AS) was in accordance with the command of Allah and was an expression of obedience to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

He also quoted the sayings (Ahadith) of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) regarding the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) and explained that the tears shed by the Prophet (PBUH) in grief over Imam Hussain (AS) demonstrate that shedding tears involuntarily out of love and sorrow for Imam Hussain (AS) is a sign of affection and devotion.

Highlighting the lessons of the tragedy of Karbala, he said that people must prove themselves to be true followers of Imam Hussain (AS) not only through their words but also through their actions.

The arrangements for the conference were well organized, and a Langar (community meal) was served to the participants.
