Gilgit (Bureau Report) – Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on the Ministry of Defence, Senator Muhammad Talha Mahmood, met with Inspector General of Police Gilgit-Baltistan, Dr. Nasir Akbar Khan.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, the law and order situation, and various security-related issues in Gilgit-Baltistan were discussed.

On this occasion, Senator Talha Mahmood presented a traditional Chitrali cap to the IG Gilgit-Baltistan Police as a gift. The IG Police thanked Senator Talha Mahmood for this gesture of affection and goodwill.

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, during which both sides reaffirmed their commitment to mutual cooperation, institutional coordination, and the promotion of peace and stability in the region.
