
Murree (Raja Usman Ali) – A fire broke out due to a short circuit at a private hotel owned by Raja Mansoor Akhlaq, a leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party Murree, located at Company Bagh on the Murree–Rawalpindi RMK Road. As a result, two floors of the building were reduced to ashes. However, due to the timely response of Rescue 1122 Murree, the fire was brought completely under control and no loss of life occurred.
According to details, a fire erupted in the ceiling of a wooden hall on the second floor of Raja Mansoor Akhlaq’s private hotel, situated on the RMK Murree–Rawalpindi Road, due to a short circuit during the morning hours. The flames quickly spread to other parts of the building, severely affecting two floors.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Rescue 1122 Murree emergency teams immediately reached the scene and launched a firefighting operation. Through professional expertise and an effective strategy, rescue personnel successfully prevented the fire from spreading to other parts of the hotel and nearby buildings.
According to Rescue sources, the fire was completely extinguished after a continuous firefighting operation, and the emergency situation was brought under control. The prompt response helped prevent major financial losses and possible casualties.
Following the incident, the relevant authorities have begun assessing the damages and further investigating the causes of the fire.
