RAWALPINDI (Special Reporter): A grand ceremony was held at the Rawalpindi Arts Council under the auspices of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) Labor Wing to celebrate the joyous occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day. The chief guest was Senator Nasir Butt, who, along with other leaders, cut an Independence cake.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and a Na’at in praise of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), after which the participants displayed remarkable national enthusiasm.

In his address, Senator Nasir Butt emphasized that only those nations that achieve freedom after a long struggle truly appreciate the blessing of independence. He stressed that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) has always been the voice of the working class and the poor, and its leaders have consistently taken practical steps to steer the country out of crises. He urged party workers to unite for the development, stability, and promotion of democracy in the country and to spread the vision of leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to every household.

Following Senator Nasir Butt, speeches were delivered by Khalid Saeed Butt, divisional president of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), district president Malik Tariq Bashir, president of the Labor Wing in Murree Bashir Ahmed Satti, PP 17 president Shehzad Abbasi, PP 17 general secretary Hamad Abbasi, legal advisor Mubashir Zahoor Abbasi, and PP 17 general secretary Chaudhry Abdul Rasheed. The duties of stage secretary were competently performed by Qaiser Imtiaz Satti.

The speakers expressed their immense love for their homeland and renewed their unwavering loyalty to the Pakistan Muslim League (N). They reaffirmed their commitment to the party’s historic services for the country’s development and the stability of democracy, stating that party workers will continue to play their full role in the nation’s progress.

The event was attended by a large number of Labor Wing officials and workers, including Hafiz Abdullah Butt, Sardar Tariq, Mirza Mansoor Baig, Malik Amir, Numberdar Asad Satti, media coordinator Qaiser Imtiaz Satti, president of Kotli Sattian Sufi Javed Akhtar Satti, coordinator of Kallar Kahar Malik Shah Nawaz, Malik Anwar, and Malik Shahbaz.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, special prayers were offered for the country’s security, stability, and prosperity, while participants raised slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Muslim League (N) Zindabad,” filling the atmosphere with enthusiasm.
