Pakistan Army Achieves Major Success in the UK, Wins International Pace Sticking Competition

The team from the Pakistan Military Academy, representing the Pakistan Army, brought pride to the nation by securing first position in the prestigious International Pace Sticking Competition 2026 held in the United Kingdom.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the competition was hosted at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where the Pakistan Military Academy team delivered an outstanding performance and swept all major honors.

The Pakistani team won the overall first-place trophy, as well as the awards for Best Pace Sticker and Best Driver, achieving a clean sweep in the competition.

The nine-member Pakistani contingent was led by Major Haider Gulzar and arrived in the United Kingdom on June 5, 2026, to participate in the event.

The annual competition, known for its rigorous standards, featured 16 teams from armed forces around the world. The success of the Pakistan Army team is being regarded as a reflection of the military’s high professional standards, excellent training, discipline, and unwavering commitment.

According to defense circles, this remarkable achievement on the international stage serves as further evidence of the Pakistan Army’s professional capabilities and its strong performance in global military competitions.
