Islamabad (Special Reporter) The Pakistan Awami Quwat Party, along with Rawal General and Dental Hospital, Rawal Foundation, and Rawal Institute of Health Sciences, celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm. A flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the Rawal Institute of Health Sciences in Tralai, with the chief guest being Khakan Waheed Khawaja, the head of the Pakistan Awami Quwat Party. He received a grand welcome upon arrival at the institute. Students from the entire college waved flags and the national flag while singing the national anthem together. The chief guest raised the national flag, and a prayer for the country’s security was offered at the end. On this occasion, the principals of Rawal College of Medicine, Professor Shakeeb Anwar; Rawal Dental College, Professor Asad; Rawal College of Nursing, Madam Daisy Jafar; and Rawal College of Physiotherapy and Pharmacy were also present. Subsequently, a special event was held at the auditorium of Rawal General Hospital, where students presented a tableau show. National songs and speeches regarding Pakistan’s history were also delivered. A documentary highlighting the public services of the Pakistan Awami Quwat Party was shown. Chief guest Khakan Waheed Khawaja distributed certificates to the participating students and, in his speech, emphasized that this country was not easily obtained; it required significant struggle. He stated that the youth are our future, and to secure that future, the Pakistan Awami Quwat Party is taking revolutionary steps, and we are always ready to make any sacrifice for this country.
