In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the Pakistan Embassy to mark Pakistan’s Independence Day. The event was attended by Pakistan’s Ambassador Ahmed Farooq, officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces, diplomatic officials, and members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri community.

The ceremony began with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem. Ambassador Ahmed Farooq raised the national flag alongside officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Participants paid tribute to the sacrifices made for Pakistan’s independence and expressed their love and commitment to their homeland.

Special prayers were also offered for Pakistan’s security, development, prosperity, and stability. Representatives of the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities reaffirmed their commitment to highlighting Pakistan’s positive image while living in Saudi Arabia and to contributing to the development and prosperity of their homeland.
