Rawalpindi (City Reporter) A large gathering of women was held under the auspices of the PML-N Women Wing in connection with Independence Day, hosted by MPA and Divisional Secretary of Information and Broadcasting, Ms. Tahira Mushtaq. The dignified event organized by the Women’s Wing of PML-N at the district and divisional level included the cutting of an Independence Day cake.
Special guest MNA and President of PML-N Women’s Wing Pakistan, Ms. Nuzhat Sadiq, attended the event, along with MNA Asiya Naz Tanoli, Divisional President Zahra Wadood Fatimi, MNA Huma Chughtai, MNA Rubina Tahseen, Tahira Abbasi, Zarida Nisar, Fozia Qamar, Sameena Arif, Mrs. Shamsa Khurram, Gul Aafreen, and many other party officials and women.
While addressing the gathering, MPA Tahira Mushtaq, MNA Nuzhat Sadiq, and Asiya Naz Tanoli stated that Independence Day is a day of renewal of commitment, and the Pakistani nation celebrates Independence Day with great enthusiasm every year. They emphasized that Pakistan was achieved through the great struggle and eternal sacrifices of our ancestors, and it is our collective responsibility to protect, develop, and ensure its prosperity.
The speakers noted that women are playing a crucial role in the country’s development, and the women workers of PML-N will continue to contribute to democratic struggle, public service, and the progress of Pakistan. At the end of the event, a special prayer was offered for the security, stability, development, and prosperity of Pakistan.
