Islamabad (City Reporter): Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan held a meeting with newly appointed Chairman of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) Engineer Qamar-ul-Islam Raja, during which various matters related to equipping young people across Pakistan with modern technical and vocational skills were discussed.
During the meeting, both sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation between the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and NAVTTC to make initiatives related to professional training, skill development, employment opportunities, and capacity building for youth more effective.
The two leaders expressed their commitment to continuing joint efforts, in line with the vision of the federal government, to provide young people with quality technical education and internationally recognized skills. They emphasized that such initiatives would enable youth to play a productive role in the national economy while also improving their prospects in the global employment market.
The meeting also highlighted youth welfare, the development of a skilled workforce, and the vital role of technical education in Pakistan’s economic growth.
