Review Meeting Held to Assess Performance of Suthra Punjab Agency in Attock

Focus on Sanitation Operations, Public Complaints Resolution, and Monsoon Preparedness

A review meeting regarding the performance of the Suthra Punjab Agency was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner General Attock and Managing Director Suthra Punjab Agency, Anil Saeed. The meeting was attended by officers from relevant departments and officials of the Suthra Punjab Agency.

During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the overall sanitation situation across the district, the performance of the Suthra Punjab Agency, ongoing cleanliness operations, timely resolution of public complaints, and preparations made in view of the monsoon rains.

Relevant officials briefed the participants about the sanitation system, availability of machinery, workforce deployment, and measures taken at sensitive locations.

Additional Deputy Commissioner General Anil Saeed directed that effective drainage arrangements must be ensured in urban areas during monsoon rains and that timely cleaning of drains, nullahs, and drainage channels should remain a priority to prevent any obstruction in the flow of rainwater.

He instructed all concerned teams to remain active in the field and ensure that machinery and staff are available round the clock to deal with any emergency situation.

Anil Saeed further stated that, in accordance with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, maintaining high standards of cleanliness in Attock district is the administration’s top priority. He emphasized that all available resources should be utilized to provide citizens with a clean and healthy environment, and no compromise should be made on sanitation standards.

He directed officials of the Suthra Punjab Agency to ensure immediate resolution of complaints received from citizens, strengthen field monitoring, and continuously supervise sanitation and drainage arrangements during the monsoon season to prevent public inconvenience.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was reaffirmed that the Suthra Punjab Agency, district administration, and all relevant institutions would work together to ensure effective sanitation and drainage arrangements during monsoon rains and provide the best possible facilities to citizens.
