Rawalpindi (Syed Shahid Waheed Hashmi): The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) conducted a transparent balloting process among eligible employees for Hajj 2027, resulting in the selection of two employees to perform the pilgrimage to the Holy Kaaba.
The balloting was held in the RDA Conference Room on the instructions of Director Administration Nausheen Israr. The ceremony was attended by officers, employees, and representatives of the employees’ union.
The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the balloting among eligible employees in Grades 1 to 16. As a result of the draw, Asim Nawaz Khokhar (Stenographer, Grade 15) and Turab-ul-Hasan (Junior Clerk, Grade 11) were selected to perform Hajj in 2027.
On the occasion, Director Finance Masood Ahmed, along with other officers, employees, and union representatives, congratulated the selected employees and extended their best wishes for a safe and blessed pilgrimage. Participants also appreciated the administrative efforts of Director Administration Nausheen Israr for ensuring that the balloting process was conducted in a transparent and fair manner.
Addressing the ceremony, Nausheen Israr stated that all administrative affairs at the RDA are being carried out in accordance with the principles of merit, transparency, and fairness to further strengthen the confidence of both employees and the public in the institution. She urged officers and employees to make integrity, professional responsibility, and strict adherence to rules and regulations their highest priorities.
She further said that only a strong, transparent, and accountable institution can earn the trust of the public. She added that the RDA will continue to implement such initiatives to enhance the organization’s credibility and further strengthen employees’ confidence in the institution.
