Rawalpindi (Staff Reporter) – In connection with Independence Day celebrations, a special tree planting campaign was organized at Iqbal Park, Rawalpindi, under the direction of MD Ahmad Hassan Ranjha and the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi. The aim of the campaign is to make the city greener and to raise awareness among citizens, especially the youth, about environmental protection and the importance of trees.

On this occasion, students and teachers from The City School, Satellite Town campus, actively participated alongside the staff of the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi, planting trees at various locations.

The students expressed special interest in the tree planting activity, pledging to play their part in protecting trees and making the environment clean, green, and beautiful.

Officials from the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi stated that the tree planting campaign on Independence Day symbolizes our collective responsibility to ensure the development and prosperity of our homeland, along with the preservation of a clean and healthy environment. Efforts to enhance green spaces in the city, beautify parks, and promote tree planting are ongoing.

The Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi appealed to citizens, educational institutions, and civil society to actively participate in tree planting campaigns and ensure the care of the planted trees, so that Rawalpindi can become an even greener, more beautiful, and environmentally friendly city.
