RAWALPINDI (Syed Shahid Waheed Hashmi): New Town Police conducted a successful operation against a gang allegedly involved in robbery, motorcycle theft, and other theft incidents and arrested the gang leader.

Police recovered five stolen motorcycles, three mobile phones, cash, and illegal weapons from the possession of the arrested suspect.

According to the police, interrogation of the arrested suspect is underway, and information is also being obtained regarding his other accomplices and additional criminal activities. The recovered items will be handed over to their original owners after completion of legal formalities, while the suspect will be challaned on the basis of solid evidence and presented before the court.

On the occasion, SP Rawal Saad Arshad said that ensuring the protection of the lives and property of citizens was the top priority of Rawalpindi Police.

He said that criminal elements who deprive citizens of their valuable assets could not escape the law, and indiscriminate action against them would continue.
