Bomb Disposal Squad Safely Defuses Explosive Material Found in Suzuki Pickup at Milad Chowk

PESHAWAR (By Khalid Khan): A suspected terrorism plot was foiled in Peshawar’s Milad Chowk area following the timely intervention of police and security authorities.

According to officials, police received information that hand grenades and other explosive material were present inside a Suzuki pickup parked at Milad Chowk. Police, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), and other relevant agencies immediately reached the scene.

The Bomb Disposal Squad took the vehicle into its custody and, demonstrating professional expertise, safely defused all the explosive material found inside it.

The timely action prevented any potential loss of life or property.

Officials said investigations into the incident were underway from various angles to determine who had placed the explosive material inside the vehicle and what their intended purpose was.

Security agencies have appealed to citizens to immediately report any suspicious activity, abandoned vehicles, or suspicious objects to the relevant authorities.

Officials emphasized that timely reporting of suspicious activities can help law-enforcement agencies take immediate action and prevent potential acts of terrorism.
