Fraud of 3.2 million rupees under the guise of work visas, suspect arrested

 

The FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Rawalpindi conducted an operation, accusing a suspect of receiving money under the pretense of providing visas to seven individuals.

Rawalpindi (Report: Izhār Khān Niyāzī) – The FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Rawalpindi arrested suspect Umar Raza Naeem in a case of work visa fraud. The FIA has registered case number 208/2026 against the suspect.

According to the FIA, investigations revealed that the suspect collected a total of 3.2 million rupees by promising to provide work visas to seven acquaintances of the complainant; however, neither were the promised visas provided nor was the money returned.

FIA officials stated that the suspect was arrested during a raid at 6:30 AM. The operation was carried out by a raid team consisting of Inspector Amal Hashim and Sub-Inspector Umar.

Further investigation of the arrested suspect is ongoing, and FIA officials stated that indiscriminate actions will continue against those involved in visa fraud and human trafficking, bringing the culprits to justice.
