Rawalpindi/Peshawar (Asif Malik) The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted a crackdown on drug smuggling in various cities across the country, arresting two suspects and seizing a total of 24 kilograms and 570 grams of drugs worth over 2.7 million rupees during two operations. According to an ANF spokesperson, during an operation at Peshawar Airport, 970 grams of ice were recovered from the bag of a passenger traveling to Bahrain, leading to the suspect’s arrest. The second operation took place near a bus terminal in Rawalpindi, where 13 kilograms and 200 grams of hashish, 8 kilograms and 400 grams of opium, and 2 kilograms of ice were seized, resulting in another arrest. The spokesperson stated that cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act of 1997, and further investigations have commenced.
