Abbottabad (BBC Report): Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Hazara Region, Nasir Mahmood Satti, hosted a dignified farewell luncheon in honour of the transferred Commissioner Hazara, Fayaz Ali Shah. The event was attended by senior police officers and civil administration officials from across the Hazara Region.
Speaking on the occasion, DIG Hazara Nasir Mahmood Satti paid rich tribute to the professional services of Commissioner Hazara Fayaz Ali Shah. He said that during his tenure, the Commissioner demonstrated outstanding administrative abilities, integrity, and exemplary leadership, making valuable contributions towards maintaining law and order, promoting interdepartmental coordination, and enhancing public service in the Hazara Region. He added that these services would always be remembered with great appreciation.
The DIG further stated that under the effective leadership of Commissioner Hazara, exemplary cooperation was established between the district administration and the police. He said that the district administration consistently stood shoulder to shoulder with the police in maintaining law and order, responding to emergencies, and managing religious, national, and other significant occasions, enabling the timely, effective, and quality delivery of public services.
He also said that under the Commissioner’s leadership, the systems of good governance and public service delivery in all districts of the Hazara Region were made more effective, transparent, and people-friendly, the positive impact of which was experienced by the public. He noted that interdepartmental coordination, mutual trust, and a joint strategy played a vital role in further strengthening peace and stability across the region.
Expressing his best wishes for Commissioner Fayaz Ali Shah’s future responsibilities, DIG Hazara said he was confident that the Commissioner would continue serving the public with the same dedication, professionalism, and leadership in his future assignments.
Commissioner Hazara Fayaz Ali Shah thanked DIG Hazara Nasir Mahmood Satti and the police officers for the honour bestowed upon him. He said that throughout his tenure in the Hazara Region, the police and district administration had always worked as one team to maintain law and order, improve administrative affairs, and serve the public. He appreciated the cooperation, professionalism, and public service spirit of the Hazara Police and expressed hope that this strong partnership would continue in the future.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, DIG Hazara presented a police shield and other souvenirs to Commissioner Hazara on behalf of the Hazara Police. Other police and civil officers present at the event also presented commemorative gifts to the Commissioner.
