Dinner Hosted in Honour of Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb

Investment, Digital Economy, Agricultural Development and Economic Reforms Discussed; Prominent Business Personalities Attend

ISLAMABAD (Izhar Khan Niazi): A dinner was hosted by Jazz World Head Zaheer Mehdi in honour of Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb. Prominent personalities from the business, financial, and social sectors attended the event.

During the dinner, detailed discussions were held on the country’s political and economic situation, promotion of investment, the digital economy, agricultural development, employment opportunities for youth, and various matters related to national development.

On the occasion, Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said that national unity, political stability, and economic reforms were essential for Pakistan’s sustainable development. He emphasized the key role of Parliament in effective legislation, strengthening democratic institutions, and resolving public issues.

He said that digital technology and an innovation-based economy were the need of the future, while the promotion of modern technology, easy financial facilities, and farmer-friendly policies was essential for the development of the agricultural sector. These measures, he said, would further strengthen agricultural production and the national economy.

The participants appreciated the leadership and democratic services of the Senate Chairman and expressed their best wishes for Pakistan’s development, stability, and prosperity.
