The Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) has launched a tree plantation campaign to plant 20,000 saplings in Dawoodkhel. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the campaign, FFC Production Director Aamir Faiz Ghaman stated that tree planting is essential to tackle challenges such as environmental pollution, climate change, and rising temperatures. He emphasized that providing a clean, green, and healthy environment for future generations is a shared responsibility for all of us.
He noted that last year, relatively younger saplings were planted, while this year, healthy and robust one-year-old saplings are being used to ensure better growth and achieve improved results from the plantation campaign. He mentioned that this year, 20,000 saplings will be planted in Dawoodkhel, marking a significant step towards enhancing the environment and increasing greenery.
Aamir Faiz Ghaman remarked that trees are a priceless gift from nature, playing a fundamental role in reducing air pollution, making the environment pleasant, and protecting human health. He urged parents, teachers, and youth to consider tree planting a national duty and to plant as many trees as possible while ensuring their protection.
On this occasion, Plant General Manager Nauman Waheed and Aamir Faiz Ghaman formally inaugurated the plantation campaign by planting a sapling.
