Heavy machinery used to remove illegal structures and clear roads for smooth traffic flow

Daud Khel (Zia Niazi): On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas Kathia, a grand operation against encroachments was conducted in the city under the supervision of SDO PHA Jamshed Gulzar Malik. The PHA Force and Municipal Committee teams used heavy machinery to remove illegal encroachments.

According to details, under the supervision of SDO PHA Jamshed Gulzar Malik, the PHA Force and Municipal Committee carried out an operation in Kacheri and Liaquat Bazaar areas. Permanent platforms, illegal structures and other encroachments were removed, and the roads were cleared to ensure smooth flow of traffic.

It is worth mentioning that the PHA Force had issued removal orders to shopkeepers in these markets last week, directing them to remove permanent platforms and other encroachments.

After the expiry of the legal notice period, the shopkeepers failed to remove the encroachments voluntarily. As a result, the PHA Force took action and cleared the areas by removing the illegal structures.
