Citizen Shot Dead Two Weeks Ago by Suspect and Accomplice Over Previous Grudge; Main Suspect Arrested with the Help of Technical and Human Intelligence

RAWALPINDI (Sanobar Kiyani): Gujar Khan Police took action and arrested the main suspect who, two weeks ago, allegedly shot and killed a citizen along with an accomplice due to a previous grudge.

According to the Rawalpindi Police spokesperson, the suspect had gone into hiding after the incident. Following the registration of a case, Gujar Khan Police used technical and human intelligence sources to trace and arrest the suspect.

According to the police, efforts are also underway to arrest the suspect’s accomplice involved in the case, who will soon be brought to justice.

SP Saddar Anam Sher said that the arrested suspect would be challaned before the court on the basis of solid evidence, adding that all legal requirements would be fulfilled to ensure that elements involved in murder and other serious crimes receive the punishment prescribed by law.
