Islamabad (News Reporter) A dignified ceremony was held to celebrate Independence Day, organized jointly by the Professional College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences Islamabad and the Chambers of Commerce. Various personalities from different walks of life, business communities, students, and other esteemed guests attended the event.
The chief guest of the ceremony was Zafar Bakhtawari, while Principal Zainat-ul-Islam and Managing Director Meherab Ali of the Professional College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences also addressed the gathering.
Honorary guest Dr. Qadir Baloch praised the organization of such a prestigious Independence Day event by the Professional College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. He commended the enthusiastic participation of students and encouraged them to continue their hard work and play a positive role in the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
Dr. Qadir Bakhsh Baloch also attended the ceremony and appreciated the efforts of the organizers. He stated that such events play an important role in promoting patriotism, national unity, and cultural values among the younger generation.
During their speeches, the speakers paid tribute to the timeless sacrifices made for the establishment of Pakistan. They emphasized that freedom is a great blessing achieved through the unparalleled sacrifices of our elders. The youth are the future of the country, and they should contribute positively to Pakistan’s development, prosperity, and stability.
In celebration of Independence Day, nursing students showcased a cultural walk dressed in traditional attire representing Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashtun, Balochi, and Gilgiti cultures, which was well-received by the attendees. The students highlighted Pakistan’s cultural diversity, which was also met with enthusiastic encouragement.
At the conclusion of the event, gifts and seats were distributed among students and other participants in honor of Independence Day. Special prayers were also offered for the security, prosperity, development, and stability of Pakistan.
