Islamabad (Crime Reporter): The Islamabad Capital Police have arrested seven suspects involved in robbery and theft incidents. Stolen motorcycles, valuable mobile phones, cash, and weapons were recovered from their possession. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, stated that indiscriminate action against criminal elements will continue.

According to details, Islamabad Police further intensified its ongoing crackdown against criminal elements and, during various operations, arrested a seven-member gang involved in robbery, motorcycle theft, mobile phone theft, and other crimes.

Police teams from Karachi Company Police Station, Golra Police Station, Bani Gala Police Station, and Bhara Kahu Police Station carried out the operations and arrested the suspects identified as Ehtesham Aziz, Arshad Rehmat, Sardar Shah, Sauban Ahmed, Saad Faizan Shah, Muhammad Zubair, and Hazrat Ali.

Police recovered five valuable mobile phones worth millions of rupees, four stolen motorcycles, cash, and weapons used in the crimes from the possession of the arrested suspects.

During the initial investigation, the suspects confessed to their involvement in multiple incidents of robbery and theft. They were also found to be involved in stealing mobile phones, cash, and other valuable items from attendants of patients within hospital premises.

Cases have been registered against the suspects, and further investigation is underway. Police expect more significant disclosures during the course of the investigation.
