“My doors are always open for citizens; applications must be resolved on merit within the stipulated time,” says IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi

Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an open court at the Central Police Office, where citizens and police officials presented their issues and complaints.
After hearing the grievances and applications, the IG Islamabad issued immediate instructions to the concerned officers for their prompt resolution on merit.
Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said that the welfare of police personnel and timely resolution of citizens’ issues on merit are among the top priorities of Islamabad Police. He stated that any citizen facing a police-related problem can approach the open court without hesitation, as his doors are always open for the public.
The IG Islamabad directed the relevant officers to resolve citizens’ applications within the stipulated time frame on merit and submit compliance reports to the Central Police Office.
He also instructed all Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) to strictly follow office timings, regularly meet citizens, and ensure the immediate resolution of their complaints.
Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said that Islamabad Police is taking various measures to provide better facilities to citizens, adding that regular open courts are playing a significant role in resolving public grievances on a priority basis.
