Islamabad Police Committed to Resolving Public Grievances; DIG Muhammad Jawad Tariq Holds Open Court

Immediate Resolution of Citizens’ Issues on Merit Is Our Top Priority, Says DIG Islamabad

Islamabad (Crime Reporter): Islamabad Police remains committed to addressing and resolving the grievances of citizens. As part of this initiative, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, listened to public complaints during an open court (Khuli Kachehri) held at his office and issued directions to the concerned officers for the immediate resolution of citizens’ issues.

According to details, acting on the special instructions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police has intensified its efforts to ensure prompt resolution of public grievances through direct engagement with citizens.

During the open court, DIG Muhammad Jawad Tariq heard complaints from members of the public and instructed officers to resolve their issues without delay. Speaking on the occasion, he said that citizens can also register their complaints and concerns through the IGP Complaint Cell (1715).

He stated that Islamabad Police is committed to reaching out to the public through various initiatives and ensuring that their problems are resolved effectively. He further said that IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has directed all senior police officers to organize open courts across the district. In line with these instructions, all Zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) are regularly holding open courts within their respective jurisdictions.

The DIG added that every citizen of Islamabad is encouraged to attend these open courts and openly present their concerns. He said that the objective of this public outreach campaign is to resolve citizens’ issues at their doorstep and strengthen public confidence in the police.
