Pakistan Awami Quwwat Party Chairman and Chairman of Rawal General & Dental Hospital and Rawal Foundation, Khawaja Khakan Waheed, has said that journalists and artists are two important pillars of society without whom progress and development are not possible.
He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of artists, journalists, and political and social figures who visited his office.
Those who met Khawaja Khakan Waheed included CEO of Dolphin Communication and renowned drama director Asma Ismail Butt, senior journalists Khalid Chaudhry, Amjad Chaudhry, Rais Ahmed, Muhammad Saleem, Madam Faiza, Liaquat Shah, Noor Shararti, Imran Rashdi, Jhalak Ali, Mufti Atiq, Tahir Dilpazeer, and President of Pakistan Awami Quwwat Party Punjab Syed Shahid Gilani.
While briefing the journalists and artists about the policies and manifesto of his party, Khawaja Khakan Waheed said that Pakistan Awami Quwwat Party is working on healthcare, technical education, and employment opportunities, while also focusing on the development of journalism and cultural sectors.
He said that his party gives great importance to both fields and aims to provide a strong platform for journalists and artists to play their role in creating awareness and positive change in society. He added that Pakistan Awami Quwwat Party would work toward becoming such a platform.
CEO Dolphin Communication and renowned drama director Asma Butt, along with Bureau Chief of New TV Rawalpindi Khalid Chaudhry and other journalists and artists, expressed satisfaction with the manifesto, vision, and future plans of Pakistan Awami Quwwat Party.
They said that the country currently needs leadership with such a vision and expressed their commitment to contributing to the mission of the party through the collective efforts of the artist and journalist communities.
