Rawalpindi (News Reporter) — President Pakistan Awami Tehreek Rawalpindi Ghulam Ali Khan and Vice President Dr. Badiuz Zaman, along with a delegation, met Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Captain (Retd.) Nadeem Nasir and congratulated him on assuming charge as Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, the delegation presented the book “Islam on Serving Humanity”, authored by Sheikh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, as a gift to the Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi.
On the occasion, Ghulam Ali Khan stated that effective communication between the administration and citizens is essential for resolving public issues and promoting public service.
He expressed hope that the new district administration would meet public expectations and take effective measures for the development of Rawalpindi and improvement of civic facilities.
Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Captain (Retd.) Nadeem Nasir thanked the delegation for their visit, congratulations, and valuable gift. He stated that urban development, good governance, improvement in institutional performance, a transparent administrative system, and provision of better civic facilities to citizens are among his top priorities.
He reaffirmed that the district administration would continue taking effective measures for the timely resolution of public issues and further improvement in the quality of public service delivery.
