44 Mobile Phones Worth Millions Recovered During Snap Checking

RAWALPINDI (By Shah Rukh/Tehsil Reporter): Saddar Wah Police took immediate action and arrested a suspect who allegedly stole mobile phones from a mobile shop in Hasan Abdal, Attock, and was attempting to flee.

Police recovered 44 mobile phones worth millions of rupees from the suspect’s possession.

According to police, the suspect had allegedly stolen the mobile phones from a mobile shop in the Hasan Abdal area shortly before his arrest and was fleeing on a motorcycle.

During snap checking, Saddar Wah Police stopped a suspicious motorcyclist and conducted a search. A large number of mobile phones were recovered from his possession.

During the investigation, the recovered mobile phones were identified as those allegedly stolen from the mobile shop in Hasan Abdal. Police subsequently arrested the suspect and registered a case against him.

SP Potohar Chaudhry Asar Ali said the arrested suspect would be challaned and presented before the court on the basis of solid evidence.

He added that effective operations would continue to protect the lives and property of citizens.
