Two separate cases registered; all possible measures being taken to eliminate the menace of drugs, says SP Potohar Chaudhry Asar Ali

Rawalpindi (Shah Rukh/Tehsil Reporter): Taxila Police have taken effective action against drug dealers, arresting two suspects and recovering a total of 5 kilograms of hashish from their possession. Separate cases have been registered against both suspects, and further investigation is underway.

According to a spokesperson for Rawalpindi Police, Taxila Police carried out operations based on confidential information and arrested two drug suppliers. A total of 5 kilograms of hashish was recovered from their possession. The recovered drugs have been taken into custody, and legal proceedings have been initiated.

SP Potohar Chaudhry Asar Ali said that all possible measures are being taken to eliminate the menace of drugs. He stated that indiscriminate action against drug dealers would continue to protect the younger generation from the harmful effects of drugs, adding that no leniency would be shown to elements violating the law.
